Baba’s Pizza - City of Troy

Excellent mid-eastern food. Different selections than other mid-eastern restaurants. Service is good. Ambiance is minimal, but the food more than makes up for it.

Delicious food, great variety, good sized portions. Really, what more can one want? We stayed at the Marriott and had it delivered. Worked so well for us. Again, simply delicious. I had a lamb wrap with extra meat, my spouse enjoyed a small 5 salad (you get to pick what you want for each salad-grape leaves, hummus, etc) , and a really good chicken shwarm (not sure it was called that). Troy has become an impressive place for visitors, just sayin'

We had a good experience at the restaurant. The employees were nice and the food was very tasty. We visited on a Wednesday evening and seating was open. The restaurant is very basic in its ambiance, which was fine for us. We would go back in the future if in the area.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch while we were heading to the Adirondacks. Having read other reviews, we were excited about a nice Turkish lunch and we were not disappointed. The Adana and lamb kebabs were good, though the lamb was more well done than I would have preferred. The real stars of the meal, though, were the fresh baked lavash and the mezze plate, which featured some truly spectacular salads and dips. We rounded out the meal with baklava and Turkish coffee and got back on the road well-nourished and happy.

Great Mediterranean restaurant. Friendly, warm, comfortable. I had beyti and pistachio baklava. Both were delicious. Highly recommended!
