We passed by several other cafes before we discovered this hidden gem where we could relax and enjoy a delicious cup of tea and cakes of our choice. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and they seated us in a cozy corner where we could enjoy our meal in peace. When we inquired about their English tea blends, the waitress brought us a special blend from Ireland that was truly amazing. The tea was hot and refreshing, and the cakes were heavenly. We also ordered mineral water to complete our meal, and we left feeling rejuvenated and ready to do some shopping in the local area. We even purchased some loose tea to take home with us. We tipped the staff generously for their excellent service and we can't wait to return. As for the negative feedback left by a previous reviewer, we suggest they spend a day in the staff's shoes to truly appreciate the hard work they put in every hour. We have the utmost respect for the staff and look forward to our next visit.
The coffee at Marylebone station is hands down the best I've had. The pastries and food are also delicious. Unfortunately, the staff seem to struggle with operating the till and have difficulty communicating in clear English. It's clear that they need better management.
The staff at the restaurant were welcoming and friendly. We only ordered coffees, but there was also an offer to get a pastry for a pound with any drink purchase. This deal was available until 11am, although it's unclear if it's available every day. The restaurant was a bit chilly inside, but that's to be expected at a train station. Despite reading some negative reviews beforehand, we were pleasantly surprised with our experience.
Always a queue. They can't seem to work as a team. Hopeless. Magda on till seems to create chaos. It's a shame as it's the best coffee in the station by far.
There's two lady who had a very bad and rude customer service. I ordered a coffee and food to eat in and the girl on the till was very rude and she was talking in another language with the blonde lady (and I was upset because I didn't understand what they say and I don't know if they was talking about me) who was making the coffee. When i got my coffee the one in the coffee machine, told me in a rude way to take a sit and wait for my sandwich. A couple of minute later the lady on the till was shouting to me to get my sandwich in an awful way. The third lady, who ask me my order, was very nice.
