Oliveto - City of London,Westminster

The food at this restaurant was outstanding. We started with the beef carpaccio, which was very good. Our mains of Milanese and crab linguine were the best we've ever had, with the linguine packed full of delicious crab meat. Our daughter enjoyed the truffle gnocchi, although it was not as impressive as the crab linguine and Milanese. The deep fried courgettes we ordered as a side were pricey at £7, but they were incredibly light, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. For dessert, we tried the panna cotta, tiramisu, and Sebada, all of which were delicious. The service was also excellent. The only thing to avoid is the coffee.

My husband and I both thoroughly enjoy all of the different Oliveto restaurants in our neighborhood. Each has a unique menu and delicious food. Well managed. One of our go-to places.

Best Italian (actually Sardinian) in London. Food is exquisite, made with sensitivity and finesse. The crab linguine is other worldly!

Good food but terrible service. Miserable staff, unhappy manager and negative from the moment we walked in till the minute we left. We have been coming here for years and something has clearly changed since they moved location a few doors down from where they were. Really need to fix what is a terrible service offering. We won’t be back, sadly.

The road the restaurant is on is stunning but Unfortunately, my partner and I both had food poisoning after visiting this restaurant. The only thing we both tried was his pizza which came with a cooked based but with raw cheese grated on top. Cheese can obviously be eaten raw and is not a big deal, and we just put up with it, I assumed what made me ill was the lobster spaghetti, however he did not eat it, so it must be either the pizza or the dessert. Completely unimpressed. Not worth it, sorry.
