Looked better from the outside than what it actually was. It's so easy to get great coffee in London that you'd wonder why don't they all do it. The coffee was ok but not great and the same can be said for the service.
I went her with my sister and toddler for brunch. The service was shocking. I had ordered scrambled eggs on toast. When it arrived it was two fried eggs, I sent it back, only to recieve the same eggs back but chopped into small pieces!...I thought they were taking the ****! I asked for it to be taken away, at this point the waiter yelled from the toll area it was my fault for not requesting scarambled to begin with. I had asked him to come back to explain I had but he ignored me. I was embarrassed more for him there were customers listening. And I was angry to be spoken to like that in front of my child. Another waitress came over to apologise but frankly I didn’t want to eat anything from there at that point we paid for the tea and left. I wish I had also made a point of telling them that the table and crockery was dirty it had grease staines and was chipped. Sadly it’s not the first time I’ve been there but it’s certainly the last.
Nest Cafe outside Willesden Green tube station has great selection of freshly homemade cakes. The coffee is great and the service very good.
After a lengthy plane, then train trip we needed some good coffee and discovered Nest Cafe outside Willesden Green tube station. The coffee was great and the service ver good. We decided not to eat but the menu had a good array of cafe food...to savour. I would definitely pop in again.
