I had a good experience at this affordable Vietnamese restaurant. The vermicelli with shredded pork and Dao Vien soup were decent, not spectacular but not bad either. However, the best part was the price. The generous bowl of noodles, fresh salad, and lightly seasoned pork only cost $8. The soup was a Chinese-style chicken broth thickened with cornstarch, filled with flat noodle pieces, mushrooms, chicken, pork, fake crab, green peas, and more, all for just $5. The portion size was more like a cup than a bowl, but it was a great deal. I was even undercharged by a dollar at checkout, so my total came to just $12. Overall, the meal was satisfying, healthy, and the hot green tea added a nice touch on a rainy day. I would definitely recommend this place.
The best dish at this restaurant is the broken rice with pork chop, combination fried noodles, and spring rolls. It is definitely my favorite choice for delicious and affordable Asian cuisine.
Great. We both had the Hainan chicken huge serves, chicken was poached very well , and the rice was flavoursome and also a large serve. No problem with communication, and the staff were very friendly. Opens until 830 at night so great for a quiet late dinner. Looking forward to trying other dishes soon.
Delicious haianese chicken! However I found the staff slightly ignorant and hard to communicate with due to the language barrier. May visit again soon though.
