Loved the town but unfortunately had bad service and mediocre beer. One bartender working over the week of 4th of July at lunch time. Feel bad for the guy but no excuse for rude service.
We came here Sunday evening because we have friends visiting this weekend and thought this might be a great place to come, so we wanted to check it out. First, the greeting wasn 't warm and friendly. They weren 't busy at all, but as we were waiting to be seated, we were reading all the signs with the rules. They had ones regarding service dogs and the questions they 're allowed to ask. Considering they have an outdoor patio, I wouldn 't have thought this needed to be spelled out to the letter of the law. The second rule is there is a two hour limit from the time you are seated! Your time doesn 't start when you order. Not an evening out with friends kind of place. I wish i had taken a picture of the signs with the rules. The menu doesn 't have many vegetarian options, and after waiting to order, we just left.
We split a build it yourself pizza. Pepperoni, mushroom, and green pepper. Everything about the pizza was made in- house. The crust was hand tossed, and the marinara sauce was house made. We had one of their wines, Mini Weiner White Pinot Blanc, and I tried their award winning American IPA. It was a hot day and both were refreshing. The IPA was smooth and clear with a slight bitter finish reminiscent of grapefruit to me. I also have to say that getting dinner with beer and wine for the both of us for only $45 is fantastic these days. When you are in Frankenmuth, the Frankenmuth Brewery is well worth the visit.
