Starbucks - Christiansburg

Yet again, I place my order on the mobile app, while on my way to work. I submit the order when I am still 15 minutes away and I usually make it to the store right at or a minute past the time the app says my order will be ready. This morning, it said 6:30. I got there at 6:31. My order was not on the counter. The three girls working were just standing around talking. I sat down. 4 people fostered in and out picking up their mobile orders and not once did those girls break their conversation to ask me what I was waiting for. Then a drivethru order comes up and they hop right on that. Then I get tired of waiting and stand up and then they realize they had Mt cup on the counter waiting to start making my drink and one girl said she forgot about it. Okay, you remember Tony 's name and have his order ready when he walls in and greet him but forgot to make mine and it happens quite often. Too often honestly. I 'm really sick of this and will probably wind up changing locations or something. This is ridiculous. Every fast food or fast food type job I ever had, we had to stop our conversations when customers walked in and tend to them to be sure we got everything they needed and Paid for. I don 't have time to wait around for some girls to finish their convo when I have work to get to. They need to get better at this job or you need to clean house.

I've never had an issue at this location. Yes, the wait can be god awful sometimes, but remember this is the only drive thru location in Christiansburg. The employees work hard and do their best with the time they can, and for so many people to rate them so low for being too busy just seems silly to me.Y'all are doing a great job! Don't let impatient people tear you down. This is one of my favorite Starbucks in the area.

Super long, slow moving line, just to have them almost hand us the wrong food and then leave out part of order. Really frustrating.

I'm currently drinking the best Peach Green Tea Lemonade in the universe right now. It's not negotiable. This is the one. I got it at this Marketplace Starbucks so I have to give them props.If you haven't been to this location before, it can get busy during peak hours. The parking lot can be a squeeze too. But as long as you're not in a huge rush, this location is money.

If I order online it’s not ready when I get there. Even if I don’t arrive until after the time you tell me it will be ready. If I order it through DoorDash to be delivered, there’s at least a 50% chance the Dasher will go in and wait several minutes and leave without getting my order. I’m guessing it’s because they get the same treatment I do when I walk in. They just ignore you. I like Starbucks coffee and I thought ordering through DoorDash would be a way to still get the coffee without actually having to endure the lengthy wait and less than friendly or attentive service but nope. Even the door Dashers don’t want to deal with them so I still end up with a very lengthy wait and poor service. I think it’s time to start trying someone new. There are lots of coffee places. I think it’s time to start experimenting with some different choices.
