Guilin Rice Noodle Golden Dragon Village

I grew up eating Chinese food and thought the dishes I tried were great! The xiao long bao was juicy and didn?t tear apart easily. I also liked that it wasn?t overly greasy like some other places I?ve tried. The steamed bbq pork buns were also super soft and fluffy. The beef shank noodle soup was yummy and had a good mix of meat and vegetables. The portion size was impressive!

We ordered the supper for 4 with sweet and sour pork and chicken teriyaki and it was alright. The service was good and I picked up. The food itself was not overwhelmingly great. The pork was breaded and tasted okay but the sauce was fairly creamy like and I am not used to that. The noodle mixture that is an option was very different as well. I will say the chicken teriyaki, shrimp tempura and won ton soup were great. I definitely want to try the dim sum next time as that seems to be where the good reviews are at. Portion size was fairly accurate as long as you?re not expecting left overs.

Service was friendly and helpful. This was our first time there and everything we ordered was delicious. Authentic flavours. Prices are reasonable. We will go back again. Highly recommend.

This was such a great dinning experience. Our server Mango was so helpful and explained his culture with us. The food especially the dumplings were amazing and freshly made. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back.

Hands down the best Chinese food in town. Lots of Szechuan style options and the dim sum is amazing. More restaurant style than cheap takeout. The staff is wonderful and the food is spectacular.
