There are actually 2 Veneno restaurants near Chignahuapan city centre. The restaurant was almost empty, both times we were there. I don't care.
The food was bad, cold and the service was terrible. Not expensive, but I'd rather pay more and have a good meal. Search for other places to eat, where you can have a good traditional meal.
This small restaurant has a homemade cuisine, the chicken mixes are delicious, great service, great price and clean.
You have an excellent and very cheap daily menu and many traditional Mexican dishes from the menu. We arrived near the closing time and they had only a few items from the daily menu left, but were ready to prepare us delicious vegetarian chilaquiles as they were abandoned meat. Excellent service and good food.
