Red Tavern - Chico

One of my favorite places in Chico. The atmosphere here is very charming. They always have a rotating seasonal menu for drinks a day food, in addition to their staple items. All of which is phenomenal, from presentation to taste. The owners are very handson and friendly. There's not a lot of turnover as far as their staff. Everyone seems to take a lot of pride in what they dohere, and it shows. We always feel welcomed and when we have a special occasion, celebrated. It's a dining experience that youdon?t get everywhere.

My wife and I came in tonight to celebrate our anniversary. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the service was excellent! My wife had a vegetarian dish, I had a seafood dish, and we shared a cheese plate. The food was fantastic and the drinks were delicious too! Red Tavern never fails to exceed our expectations. We always enjoy returning to celebrate special occasions.

Even though there were plenty of empty tables we were told we needed a reservation. Luckily we got a very small cramped table in the bar. Service was slow most likely due to being understaffed. Most of the food was ok but for the price I was leftunderwhelmed.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, especially for those looking for high-end dining. The flavors are outstanding, with delicious options such as meatloaf, chicken, and hamburgers.

This is a great place that I would recommend making reservations for. It costs about $65 per person including drinks.
