Really cute independent caffe, really nice in winter as they fire in the rooms, fresh homemade cakes and cookies!
Hostile atmosphere, extremely rude proprietor, very expensive with extremely small portions, £5 minimal expenditure per person and sign at the door say no babies, not really in tune with general vegans worth.
The hotel is located in atmospheric, cozy accommodation from the 18th century (which unfortunately means that the access is not good), with outside seats when the weather is warm. friendly and helpful staff. vegan options are suppe or drachenkuchen with salat (the advertised salat that accompanies the drachenkuchen is not vegan, but they will make happy a vegan salat), plus a folding jacket. there is even a piano to play.
Extremely limited vegan choice, we had vegetable soup that was not remarkable, and nut dust. The latter was fine, but portion was weeny and no salad available, not as much as a parsley. Uploaded extra for a piece of bread, and again extra for vegan butter. So £16.20 for tiny lunch, it couldn't afford to have a drink, and hostile attitude meant that I wasn't brave enough to ask for tap water. However, the warrens of the intersecting tea rooms are very stone. Save yourself and go back for a cup of tea.
