The Spice - Chicago

My go to spot for chicken tikka masala. I usually order take out and love the flavor and portion sizes that the Spice Room provides. My typical order is the tikka masala with garlic naan and veggie samosas. Their naan is always soft and fresh and the hostess is super friendly and welcoming. I keep meaning to try other menu options but so far I've been to my favorites.

We came here for pickup on a rainy Tuesday. The pickup time said our order was ready so we headed over but we were told at the pickup counter it would be 15 more minutes. It seems like this place was busier than expected or the order pickup times need to be improved given everyone was waiting for a long time. Besides that, my husband enjoyed his dish and I enjoyed my mango lassi. Hope to try this place again and enjoy the food inside the restaurant.

Ordered takeout during a week night and when you pick up outside the window you can see what a popular pick up spot this is! We didn't have a ton of interaction with the service but the food we ordered was ready fairly quick and we ordered early in the night. We ordered subz sangam, Butter chicken, Haryali chicken, Aloo paratha, Garlic and butter naan with white basmati rice. Everything was great and the portions were large! I ended up eating my subz sangam over 3 meals. The haryali chicken was a little spicy so bear that in mind if you are not a big spice person. Next time I'd only get the aloo partha and garlic naan because the butter naan was a little plain. We'll definitely be back.

Ordered the samosas and butter paneer and chicken tikka and garlic naan everything was delicious have ordered here before and will continue to order! Can't forget the little donut holes I forgot the name. Tastes like the super donuts from elementary school but even better !

We ordered door dash so I can't speak to the atmosphere inside but everything was well packaged and flavorful. It was just as described and authentic! The flavor and spice was great!
