The Region Handcrafted Hamburgers

After reading several positive reviews, I was disappointed by the burger at this restaurant. Despite claims of it being the best in the city, it tasted similar to a burger from a drive-in in Evanston. The hand-cut fries and handmade chili were also underwhelming for their high prices. The total cost of $48 was far too expensive for what I received. Overall, I found the taste to be average, the prices to be excessive, and my satisfaction to be below average. It was a disappointing experience, regardless of how others may view it.

This was one of the best burgers I have ever had. The fries were also delicious. I would give it a 10 out of 5 because everything about the place was outstanding. The food was high quality, served promptly, and the service was amazing. I highly recommend trying a burger from this restaurant.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was more to the burgers than I had expected. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had.

A great burger. the crispy edges are such a tasty bite and the fried gurkens are so good and the kinderburger was a big hit.

UNRELIABLE HOURS EXTREMELY AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE On Sunday, 10/31/21, at 3:30 pm I called to double-check their hours and an employee answered telling me that they do close at 8 pm. At 6:45 we tried to place an online order and the online system didn't allow us to do so. Then, we tried calling to which we received no answer. After calling a couple more times, someone answered stating Hello, this is the Region, we are closed I stated, I called earlier to confirm your time and someone told me 8pm the guy responded the employees who were supposed to close called off so we're closing early I stated that stinks, this is our second time trying to order on a Sunday where you all have closed early The line went quiet, I said Hello and the employee hung up. I understand that the pandemic has caused a lot of unreliability etc. within the food/customer service industry, but it truly upsets when the customer service is trash and you're being hung up on. This is the SECOND TIME THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED. The first time my husband and I actually DROVE ALL THE WAY up there (about a good 30-min drive) to be greeted with a makeshift sign stating CLOSED EARLY despite it being over an hour before close time!It is extremely unfortunate that we will not be giving our services to this restaurant any longer. It is also unfortunate that I have to leave a one star review seeing as though the burgers are delicious! This place has been a great go-to when my husband I are in the mood for a nice greasy and flavorful burger.
