Tabu - Chicago

We had been waiting for a long time, even though we had reservations.

Food was delicious and we had a great time. The restaurant decor is beautiful and our waitress Jessica was awesome! Even though we had a reservation they still didn’t seat us for 20-25 minutes. They let us sit and order a drink while we waited though. Overall liked it.

LOVED Tabu! Great spot for a group of friends or a date night. Colorful and lively interior, great music. Our service was 10/10. Daniella was fantastic. We liked the the corn fritters, steak tartare and all of the salsa and guacamole are fantastic too. Can’t wait to visit in the summer to check out the roof top!

Tabu was definitely an experience! The ambiance was fun and eclectic. The music was enjoyable and the food and drinks were delightful. My only discontent was how close we were seated next to other diners. I felt like I was part of their experience and that took away from my own dining experience.

The vibe and aesthetic was very pleasing, but the food was meh. Its definitely a place you go for the vibes/pics, not food
