A hidden gem!. Gyro was generous portion and came with an abundance of fries too! Has nice outside picnic table area to enjoy on site if you prefer. Menu was priced as fair as you'll find for comparable menu items elsewhere!Parking: Plenty of on site spots or street parking.

I’ve been coming here since the early 90s since I was 5 years old. The owners are really nice people. The food is excellent and the menu has all the classics at very affordable prices. The actual stand hasn’t had much of an upgrade in 30 years but it doesn’t matter bc it looks super clean. The service, food and prices are great! My kids love coming here and grew up eating the best in the city. We frequent Jays several times a month. Free fries with any sandwich/hotdog and they are generous servings. We love the hotdogs, cheeseburgers, pizza puffs, gyros, beefs and Maxwell street polish. Highly recommend Jays for some classic Chicago food.Parking: Easy lot parking or side street in front.

They have great food for an unbelievable price. I usually get 2 hot dogs or a gyro when I go.

Reasonable simple hot lunch. But, everything hot dogs don't even come with sport peppers and celery salt...
