Italian Village Restaurants - Chicago

Visited The Village (upstairs) last night for dinner with coworkersEven though it was very busy we only waited about 15 minutes for a table.

Just arrived in Chicago for the weekendWanted a quick bite Ordered a couple salads and an antipasto platterIt was perfect.

My friend and I went here tonight for dinnerI have never been even though the place has been around for 90 years.

That was perhaps one of the worse culinary experiences I had in my life. the staff was friendly and nice, but eating was not edible. we left it on the table. it is a tourist trap. there was a table of 37 sitting next to us, they were probably members of a tour group? no social division! we were stacked together. we went as fast as possible! I just hope I didn't get covid.

Good dinge first eating was delicious and fast service. the facility of the restaurant was fantastic. I felt I had to ask for everything. I need more pepsi, I need more sauce, we want more brot. the tons of the staff and our waiter went on the table with an empty pop glass. if they pay 3 plus dollar for a drink, it sucks to demand a refill. I will surely be a big part of the city again and the staff was very friendly. I had spaghetti and meatballs.
