Abbiocco Italian Cuisine/ Luna Rooftop

This restaurant has a high focus on visual appearance ambience and food unfortunately, it does not have the same focus for taste or service both were just average

I originally chose this restaurant because it had a roof top. It was a sunny day so I was really looking forward to sitting rooftop. Supposedly when we arrived it was closed. So we opted to sit at the bar which was low lit and only sat two other guest within the entire restaurant. Which was really the opposite of the vibe I was going for. I had also reviewed the menu before arriving and already knew what I wanted. And once again couldn’t get what I wanted because they had a limited menu before 4. So I opted for a bowl of some kind of pasta. The pasta was super small(I’m guessing their idea of lunch sized. Maybe ? I was able to finish the entire bowl and was still a little bit hungry. (I’m not really a huge person I asked to add shrimp to my dish and they put exactly 4…also disappointing…and then the food tasted pretty bland. It’s not that I was bad tasting. It was just …barely tasting …as if I was eating at Lubys or maybe a restaurant for senior citizens. Had I have gotten to sit roof top and get the meal that I had previously picked out from online menu. Maybe my experience would have been a little bit better. If your just going for appetizers and wine/drinks in a low lit quiet bar setting. This is the place for you. But it wasn’t the place for me.

This is a review for brunch and I can't speak to their regular menu, however I would not recommend it for brunch.The food wasn't bad, but we had multiple dishes we planned on ordering that weren't available because the menu on the website did not match the menu they had in the restaurant. It's not a lot to ask that that be kept up to date so the experience started off on the wrong foot.Despite being the first and only table, our party still had a longer wait for the food. We had asked for more blueberry compote (very little came with the pancakes and it was weirdly chilled) but the request was forgotten after being acknowledged and we had to ask again at the end of the meal when we finally saw the server again.Plenty of great brunch options, move this one off of your list.

This place is beautifully decorated. The waitress Emilie was so helpful and she made me a drink that was delicious. The Manager came to talk to me about the different drinks from other countries and made me comfortable being in a new state and place.

We had a great evening with great friends. The service was great, drinks were strong and food was tasty. We loved the crabcake appetizer and the muscles.
