Stackhouse Pub Grill - Chesterfield

Firstly, the waitress was incredibly nice and provided just the right amount of attention. My family and I visited this restaurant once and had a great experience. My mother especially loved the French onion soup. I tried the chicken strips for the first time and found them delicious. On our second visit, I ordered the same dish again. However, this time I received three strips, one of which was about the size of a finger, and they were swimming in grease. I have no desire to pay $9.99 for such a noticeable drop in quality. The second experience just lacked the same appeal as the first.

The food is excellent, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is friendly. Everything is wonderful! I really need to visit here more often.

I went to StackHouse in an effort to have a good meal and some downtime. Instead, I found the following. Christine, the bartender, was rude and crooked. I originally ordered the pulled pork sandwich that came brown, well made, chewing and tasteless. The beans that were accompanied were also subpar. I was asked if I had something else, so I ordered wings (crisis). They're burned and black. They were taken by me with nothing but an attitude as if I personally insulted someone. Apparently, Christine had problems outside of work and decided to bring them with her. Not only do I recommend this place, it wasted retail space that a real bar and barbecue could flourish.

My boss highly recommends this place, so we went there for a team dinner. The food was excellent—I tried the Big Al, and both the burger and pulled pork were delicious. The service was a bit slow, but I understand they only had two staff members working, which is common in today's labor market. Despite that, our server was incredibly friendly and did her best to take care of us. Since it was a business dinner, I couldn't sample any of the beers, but the selection looked promising. I’m hoping to get the team together for drinks after work sometime soon! I would definitely recommend this place for the food. I just hope they can find more helpful and efficient staff like our server!

We went early evening on a Sunday so it was quite empty, but the wait staff was nonetheless attentive and very kind. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu, a quality that seems to be disappearing these days. My burger was quite good and we loved the battered french fries.
