The Drays Coffee Shop

No idea where JanetDenise was visiting but in my, frequent, experience The Drays is a very welcoming place serving good food. JanetDenise must have been in a parallel universe. There is a clear notice asking visitors to order at the counter, so that the staff know you are there! If white cane users made themselves known, I am sure that appropriate help, large print menus (they are available, just ask! and welcome efforts would have been forthcoming. I have certainly taken friends in wheel chairs to The Drays how, therefore, is it wheel chair inaccessible? Pinch or two of salt needed here, methinks!

Inaccessible to wheelchair users. Fire exits not labelled but all doors out half obscured by Sales items. On entry a trip hazard as rubber insulation loose. All print very very small. Ignored by staff not advised to order at counter. As a white cane user I was not welcomed. Disability unaware and uncaring.

This restaurant is the perfect little escape to relax and unwind in the countryside while enjoying delicious food and coffee. Be sure to check their opening hours and days of operation before heading there, as they are not open every day.

The food and drinks at this restaurant are delicious and well-presented. The service is prompt and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I will definitely visit again.

I had a wonderful afternoon tea at this restaurant to celebrate my friend's special birthday. The selection of cakes and sandwiches was just right, and the scones were delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were lovely and provided excellent service. I highly recommend this coffee shop.
