The Blackhouse Grill Chester

Great food, but loud, rushed and ridiculously overpriced, even with the 'food ' discounts that you can get by email. No denying the food is tasty though, starters portions are small and £7-8 quid a pop for something interesting.

The food, service, and atmosphere at this restaurant were all excellent. However, it was a bit pricey, especially for smaller portions. Despite this, we would still consider dining here again.

My wife and I visited Blackhouse Grill for the first time on a Saturday night, as we had a kid-free weekend. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We were greeted by a friendly host, the festive Christmas decorations made us smile, and all the staff were welcoming and had smiles on their faces. The atmosphere was lively but not overwhelming. Our server was very attentive and the food was delicious. The steak and seafood were cooked perfectly. My ribeye was incredibly tasty and my wife's scallops were to die for.
