So far we have the “Breads and Falafels” Pita bread, zaatar bread, falafel with puree, Harissa vegetables, hummus, red chili sauce, parsley coriander sauce and tahini, “Pita Pocket” pita filled with a colorful mixture of falafel, hummus, tahini, pickled brittle, fried brin The Falafels are the best we had at the age! We also tried the date juice, the delicious date juice with almonds and the cardamom flavored Turkish coffee. The place itself is fresh and beautifully designed, and the owner and the people working here are so friendly and passionate about this place! Very recommended!
We have ordered from Tamu Tamu (Chennai's first 100% vegan restaurant) multiple times and we have never been disappointed by their food and service. You must try their Lebanese meal box and pita bags, which are filled with heavenly hummus that is the best in the city. Their Zaatar Pita is also amazing! The portion sizes are generous and the prices are reasonable. This healthy, 100% vegetable food is the best option.
I discovered this restaurant on Happy Cow. It's a delightful hidden gem tucked behind the Ganesha temple on the main road. I appreciate the branding and design aesthetic. The menu is straightforward, with a focus on Middle Eastern staples like Pita, Hummus, and Falafels. The falafel pita was authentic and I particularly enjoyed the toppings of gherkins, pickled radish, grilled eggplant, and more.
This restaurant in Chennai is the city's first exclusively vegan option, and it is fantastic. Recently opened, the elegant dining space is run by a very welcoming staff. The falafels are exceptional, possibly even better than any we've tried elsewhere, and the food presentation is outstanding. We loved everything we ordered and will definitely return. In addition, the restaurant offers great value for the quality of food served.
