Przekaż informację zwrotnąI believe this was the worst doner kebab I have ever had. It was extremely tough and could not be eaten. When I called to complain, they offered me a free kebab next time, but I do not live in the area and am only staying for one night, so it wasn't very helpful.
I have had quite a few lovely takeaways from Skewers and have put on glowing reviews. Heard it was under new management but hoped the quality and service would still be as good. They weren’t. Firstly it took an hour and a half for my meal to arrive even though the website “tracking” was saying my meal had been delivered for the last 20 minutes of that time. When it arrived the bags were wet on the bottom and I was warned to hold them underneath so the food wouldn’t fall out. On looking the bag with the salads in looked as if it already had fallen out. One of the salads and one of the sauces were open and upside down (he seems the wet bag Despite specifying no cucumber (due to an allergy all three salads had cucumber in making them inedible The two kebabs were cold and the meat was over cooked and dry. Several bits were so burned I thought they had put charcoal in by mistake. The doner meat and fries used to just be meat and fries but this time it was covered in loads of salad and masses of a white sauce (mayonnaise? . The salad had loads of cucumber in it so this dish was also inedible. Even without the cucumber it was stone cold and couldn’t be microwaved as it was covered in salad and Mayo. The two kebabs were cold and we tried microwaving them but the meat was so dry and tough they also got binned. All in all the meal cost £25 and 98% went in the bin. I rang the shop and the girl sounded as if she’d heard it all before. They had been rushed off their feet but she would get the manager to ring me back. Unsurprisingly he didn’t. So sad to see the best kebab shop in Chelmsford become this bad in just a few months
Placed an order and waited an hour and a half until I had to chase it. Order finally arrived 2 hours later and it was completely wrong. Mixed shish was just a handful of lamb donar on chips and chicken wings were replaced with Mozarella sticks. Called back to advise and just got told it was the drivers fault and no offer of a refund for the difference in what I ordered and what was delivered. If that wasn't bad enough the food was sub standard and had to be binned. Stay well away!
We placed our food order at 7:07 pm, but by 8:20 pm our food still had not arrived. When we called, we were told that our order had not even left yet and would be the next one out, and to wait another 15 minutes. We continued to wait while the kids became increasingly hungry. Finally, at 8:45 pm, we called again and were informed that the food was on its way. By that point, we had already fed the kids. The LARGE chicken wrap we ordered only had 3 small, hard pieces of chicken and watery mayonnaise. The portion of cheesy chips we ordered was a hard, congealed mess as it had been left upside down in the container. I can understand that it was a busy Saturday for deliveries, but the wait time and the poor quality of the food were unacceptable. Unfortunately, we will not be ordering from this restaurant again, which is a shame because our previous experiences with their food had always been good.
Ordered food and item did not arrive. When enquired, they blamed Uber eats where I ordered and also convinced to refund. Till date not received. Terrible service
