We stopped at this Subway on Rte 29 in Chatham near Tightsqueeze, VA because we were looking for a clean mobility friendly companion assistance restroom—a rarity on rural highways! A billboard advertises clean restrooms at this Subway location and the bathrooms were clean, open space individual mobility friendly bathrooms we could make do with and a walker could fit. There was handicap parking at the door and a few different people offered to assist my father walking in with Parkinson’s. The manager and staff were friendly and took pride in the clean restaurant. The sandwiches were adequately filled with a variety of fresh ingredients. We even stopped again on our way home. A good restaurant to keep in mind when traveling between Lynchburg and Danville, Greensboro or Charlotte! Wheelchair accessibility: Extremely clean walker mobility accessible bathroom with smooth clearance to enter from handicap parking spot.
