Chartwells UPEI - Charlottetown

We enjoyed a few of breakfasts here while staying at the UPEI Summer Accommodations. You could eat as much as you needed at the buffet which seemed to offer a different hot special each day, but also had all the things you expect to see at a breakfast buffet: eggs, meat (sausage and bacon), pancakes or fresh toast, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, fruit salad, a variety of breads, bagels, muffins, etc. A variety of beverages were also available. The staff at the caf were really friendly and kind. They were always interested in what we were doing for the day and what attractions we were going to enjoy. Pretty impressive service for a university cafeteria!

This restaurant serves the original pizza that used to be made at Boubou before it closed down. The taste is excellent.

The restaurant is quite pricey, the food is tasty but not always easily accessible. There are no student discounts or offers and it is definitely not budget-friendly for students.

The staff was very friendly and attentive, asking about our plans for the day and suggesting attractions to visit. The service was impressive for a university café!
