Sedona Taphouse - Charlottesville

Great 1st stop on our trip to charlottesville! No wait when we arrived, staff are very friendly and resturant is clean. Our meal came out quick and hot. We had the truffle fries and Spicy Thai shrimp for apps. Dinner we had the scallops and the hangover burger. Everything was flavorful and well seasoned. They have an extensive beer menu and a decent wine list cocktail menu.

Stopped in for dessert and beers. The beer selection is second to none. The beer manager Avery is very knowledgeable about each beer and pairing beers. The peanut butter chocolate cake was incredible. I would advise you to pair it with a Lost Creek Brewery Peanut Butter Chocolate Milk Stout or a Lexington Brewing Co. Vanilla Barrel Cream Ale

We had the angus steak and NY steak; both were juicy and delicious. If you are unsure about whether you can finish up the entire steak (like I was :p), the angus steak would be a good choice since it is smaller (11oz). We also had the cheese cake, it was thick, very creamy and tasty.

My honey and I were having a date day and headed to charlottesville to look at the scenic views and have dinner. We like to try new restaurants that we have not been to so I Google searched restaurants near by and Sedona popped up. I'm so glad that we chose to eat there! The food was DELICIOUS and our server was awesome! He had high energy and was very informative on everything on the menu. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I definitely recommend people give it a try. We found out that they also have a Sedona in Richmond where we live. We will definitely be returning

We had a family dinner here, so there were 12 of us and they just put us in the back. The food was amazing! Everyone was excited about what they ate. I had the Veg Primavera Pasta. It was delicious, loaded with sweet garlic in the wine sauce. Hubby had a crab cake that came with garlic potato and turned off the corn for asparagus, then we split a house salad that was extra. The Ranch Dressing was so good! It HAD to be made home! It made the salad so good I just wanted to eat more and more of it. It came with palm hearts, which was a nice change. Then for dessert we had the lemon cake that had submerged a raspberry sauce that just tastes the cake perfectly. All in all this was the perfect way to end the night before the BIG DAY of my niece!
