Cavalier Diner - Charlottesville

Excellent food- some of the best Eggs Florentine around!! Great down to earth, southern hospitality.. My boyfriend and my's favorite place for breakfast!!! Sooo good- it's part of our tradition!

I drove from Hanover County a couple months ago for 'brunch ' on a Sunday, after drooling over photos for too long. My crabcake benedict was awesome, as were the mimosas. What I couldn 't possibly eat in the same meal, I ordered and took home. Chicken waffles, spanikopita, and a reuben. ALL delicious! Sure wish I lived closer! This was my 2nd trip, and I was fortunate to get the same waitress she was attentive, but didn 't overly interrupt. The first time there, it was dinner time I was so overwhelmed by all that was available on the menu, I asked her what she liked: she was right! (chicken souvlaki dinner). I 'll definitely be back, and highly recommend!

Some of the nicest folks around, the team at Cavalier Diner is incredibly friendly, engaging, and professional. The owner, Virginia, is always around and happy to lend a hand with your needs and her staff is top notch. The food is simply fantastic. Do yourself a favor and swing on by.

Had French toast and OJ. If I have to come to Charlottesville Virginia I will eat here again!!!
