I had lunch at Carmelo's with two friends today. Fantastic food. One of Charlottesville's best.

One of the best meals we've had in Charlottesville in a long time! The baby artichoke appetizer was incredible, and my main dish of Lobster Ravioli with crab and caviar was an entree I will remember and crave again soon! My husband has continued to rave about his Beef Wellington app, and his grouper entree well into the next morning. The ambiance, food pacing, service all A+ Our meal was concluded with a complimentary cordial that was liquid gold, a secret family recipe, and a visit from the owner who was just delightful. My husband and I compared our experience at Carmellos with restaurants we have dined at in NYC.
