I very rarely give a bad review but this place truly deserves it. First off it advertises as being open but actually only offers outdoor seating (it’s 98 degrees outside). We drove 40 minutes to visit this one time favorite of ours but it steadily disappointed. Biscuit was super dense dry only comparable to Popeyes. Burger lacked flavor and was cooked till it was completely dried out. Customer service has definitely went downhill compared to the old Ace Biscuit. I definitely do not recommend this place and will not be back.
This is the worst barbecue I’ve ever had, AND it is also the worst meal I have ever had. The fries had so much salt on them they were inedible and they were oil soaked and floppy. The jerk chicken looked like a piece of charcoal, it actually took me awhile to identify it as chicken. I forgot that I ordered three meats. At first, I thought it was burnt ends from the brisket. Any restaurant that would put that on a plate clearly is not interested in providing an edible product. I have never experienced so much fat on brisket. The 3 sauces were underwhelming. Overall horrible experience. In fact, it was gross.
Brisket was tasty but that was about it. Biscuit was dry on the outside and undercooked inside. The shredded cheese and onions on top were cold and for the price paid it should come with a side. Staff was also loud and obnoxious in the open kitchen right next to the dining area
The barbecue briskets were in small quantity, the biscuit did taste really good and the ol' dirty fries go best with honey mustard. I liked the live music and wasn't too busy on a Friday night.
