The Burger By Wegmans - Chantilly

Hmm, I'm now somehow between Burger Bar and all the other places that offer relatively tasty and well-priced burgers. I just ate at the first Burger Bar in VA, I think during the opening today. The service is of course stellar in view of the Wegmans standard for quality. The meal itself was ok.... See picture. Okay, so that the meat patty does not seem to be frozen provenance. And it took a few minutes to understand why they say it is irradiated beef as this is a great solution for those who like to cook burgers rarely. So kudos for meat dancing option.... but was hoped more Maillard crust on the meat patty. The frits are not double-footed, so they get soggy when cooling. The sweet potatoes fries is the highlight due to the interesting cut that makes it crispy outside, moist sweet inside. The Burger Entrees seem limited. I hope for a lot of unforgettable flavors (again, very little Maillard crust) but I will keep the last star and see what specials or events this place could hold in the future. IMPORTANT NOTE for all with hungry children when shopping for food .... Yes, I would come back to eat here as the seating area is very relaxing and family oriented.

4 stars are not bad. New location so place is clean and well illuminated. Ordering my favorite thing is her margarita.

I love the way the burgers are done. The spices were boiled well and kept their skill. I think it was all meat and no extenders mixed. Milkshake was also nice thick and creamy. Absolutely.
