Arrived at Westfields Marriott at the reserved time only to find out that the hotel had CANCELLED brunch for Christmas Day. I was there with my elderly mother and two other people. It was a disaster! We had to really scramble to find another restaurant, which was not easy given that it was Christmas Day and there were not a lot of options. Very disappointed. No one ever called me or emailed me to let me know that they had cancelled the brunch. The management handled things very poorly--no offers of any kind of compensation for our inconvenience. I do not recommend this venue at all and will never go back.
We've frequented the Westfields Marriott brunch on and off for years. The price has now doubled since we started going per person $90) and the service has steadily declined. I shouldn't have to get up from my seat and ask twice for a coffee refill. Hard pass for the future.
The price went up and desert selections seemed fewer. No more open bar. Food was very good overall. Very nice place to have Thanksgiving dinner.
My experience compared to last year Mother’s Day brunch was a little disappointing. You can tell the Dining management and team have changed. The staff did not seemed, well fully staffed. The gentleman who was supposed to direct people into the dining room, did not seem to know where he sat someone. Also, I don’t think people knew gratuity was not included. While this may be a good thing no gratuity for the customer; the server may end up getting stiffed . Also no one handed out flowers this year, or least when we kept our reservations at 1:45. Overall the experience was okay compared to last year. I hope it improves, my mother loves coming to this place.
Mother's day brunch was truly amazing. The selection of food was extensive and good quality. However, the service was slow and sub par. For $89 per person, you would expect better. Also, I was a bit taken aback when they added a 22% service charge because we had 6 people (or more) in our group, and it was buffet they only brought drinks and cleared plates! Overall it was a very nice experience, but not worth the cost.
