Trattoria a few steps from the cathedral has a characteristic and pleasant environment. We started with a platter of cured meats and assorted bruschettas: excellent. It was supposed to be a pleasant lunch for 2 in Spoleto, we arrived and they seated us almost immediately and then made us wait 30 minutes just to order, we were completely ignored while the waiters stood up and down in front of us. Having taken our order, we waited another 45 minutes for a simple plate of pasta. Since we are in Umbria we wanted to taste some good truffles, so we chose the truffle menu consisting of truffle fettunta, homemade truffle spaghetti and a side dish. The fettunta only tasted of oil, on top there was a truffle sauce of which you could neither taste nor smell. With your eyes closed, spaghetti could be mistaken for pasta with oil and even here it had no smell or taste. Going to a typical tavern I would have expected fresh truffles or at least a good sauce, however the fresh truffle was absent and the sauce was completely tasteless, shameful given that it is also sold by the restaurant. So all in all it was a two hour lunch, of which more than an hour was spent waiting, with poor service and mediocre food. Strongly not recommended!

We stumbled upon it by chance, while touring the wonderful Spoleto, and it was a real discovery: simple dishes, carefully prepared and excellent. Right portions, on the generous side, and impeccable service: young and very kind guys, clean and well-kept environment. I highly recommend it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
