Osteria in the center of Spoleto. We had a great lunch! 2 adults and two children. Very friendly staff and delicious food!! From the appetizers to the dessert everything was delicious! From Marcello and Rita it is always a guarantee!!! You are greeted with a smile and leave with a hug!!! You feel pampered from starter to dessert!!! The mixed platter is full of local delicacies, cured meats and cheeses! My boyfriend and I enriched it with coratella and stuffed courgette flowers!!! The first...Spoletina strangozzi...a simple but special dish...you wish they would never end!!! The roast suckling pig melted in your mouth...delicious!!! Accompanied by perfectly pan-fried vegetables!!! We concluded this sumptuous dinner with chocolate salami with cream (own production)... and if you say that the meal is judged by the dessert... I can say with absolute certainty... that it was a stellar dinner!!! The impeccable service and the family atmosphere made the meal more enjoyable!!!

Without a doubt the friendly and courteous owners and waitress and the cute little dog but otherwise we weren't thrilled. Service a little slow and confusing. The room is cold and the tables are crowded together. Then unfortunately I ordered aubergines parmesan but they were frozen inside. A sign that it was a dish taken out of the freezer and heated in the microwave. At this point I eat at home.... It's true that they removed it from the bill for the sake of fairness but I'm really hungry. I don't deny the taste was good but honestly I was really disappointed.
