Nonna's Italian Bistro - Centennial

WOW! Truly excellent (and authentic) Italian food. This gem was across the street from my hotel and I regret not trying it on my first night! Nonna’s son, Michael, took excellent care of me and offered suggestions based on my interests. The lasagna was excellent. Truly a must have while in the area, will be my first stop when visiting in the future!

We waited 30 min at our table before even a drink order was taken. Finally left after 45 min with no drink served or food order taken. Very disappointing experience.

The food was the worst I have had in a long time. Every course of the meal was either undercooked or noticeably not fresh. Raviolis we’re undercooked, soft cheese had a hard crunch to it, etc.

As a culinary connoisseur, I would have to say that the food was just okay! Ate at the bar and loved the bartender! She was engaging and steered me clear of the scallops, which I originally had my heart set on..... the beef ribs were my second choice, but probably should have read that they were brined. Way lots of salt, but as any chef knows, if the entree is salty, then the potatoes and spinach should have not.... rookie move, but the lasagna and the bread with evoo and balsamic were amazing! Gotta find a good place for scallops now ?
