The service here is horrible and quality of food is worse.I frequently come here because of proximity to where I live but that will change moving forward. It’s better to drive a little further for better quality and service. I have now ended up waiting at this restaurant multiple times even though I ordered ahead for pickup.Although good desi food options are limited in Austin, I’d encourage you to choose a different restaurant.
The food quality has significantly deteriorated in the last six months, possibly due to a change in ownership and definitely a change of chef. We used to frequent this place, but we're unlikely to return given the abundance of other dining options in Austin. The chicken Kodai we ordered lacked flavor and seemed like plain steamed chicken in uninspiring gravy. The grilled dishes were overly sour and lacked the delightful taste we remember from before. Furthermore, the absence of beef items is disappointing. It's unfortunate how a change in chef can negatively impact a once beloved dining spot.
I ordered tikka both and goat karma. Food was not good no taste, nan was hard and chewyFood: 1/5
The food was incredible! It had great portions and tasted just as good as it smelled! I will be coming here again sometime!Food: 5/5
It was okay. Wanted beef nihari but they didn’t have it, so we settled for Neelam chicken. It tasted whatever. The chicken was tough, and the naan was stretchy and difficult to tear apart. The rice it came with was plain white rice and dry. No flavor at all or salt. Found out they have a new owner so maybe that’s why food wasn’t great.
