The Spice Club, Co. Antrim

Went here at the recommendation of the hotel. Food was very tasty and service was great. Only thing that let it down was that the food did take a while to come out but I would definitely eat here again.

We took our dinner in the Green Room/Spice Club each night we were in Belfast. The curry offerings are not every night, but they are worth going for on the scheduled evenings. The menu election is good, though naans, rice, etc are separate menu options. The staff were helpful and really helped us get everything we needed for a large family gathering. I had the chickpea curry (which is the only curry offering on the off days at Green Room), and my wife had a medium spiced chicken dish. Both were very vice.

After complaining, the manager avoided us until my wife paid for my birthday meal. He did take money off for the naan bread and pizza, and admitted the food quality was poor. However, he refused my offer to eat the hard, overcooked frozen pizza. We ended up spending £86 for a family meal, which would have been better spent at KFC. This was unfair to the large number of captive family diners over the New Year period.

I finally tried Spice Club after noticing it while passing by many times. My wife and I were glad that we booked a table on Saturday. We had great food and received excellent service from Jabbar and his team. We will definitely be coming back soon!
