The staff were odd and unfriendly, lacking any hint of a smile. The prices were exorbitant compared to the quality of the food - I wouldn't even consider paying for a burger and fries there. We were all taken aback and opted to give the soup a try, but it tasted like it was from a package and definitely not fresh. It brought to mind a scene from Norman Bates' motel. I strongly advise steering clear of this place - it's truly absurd. A warning from Ireland: Rip-off alert.
I visited this restaurant and ordered curry fries. Unfortunately, I was served chicken curry fries instead. I explained to the waitress that I am a vegetarian and only wanted the curry fries. However, they brought me fries with chicken curry on top once again. When I requested a refund, the waitress claimed that this was their standard way of serving curry. After insisting on a refund, the waitress consulted with the cook who seemed uninterested. Despite expressing my frustration, I eventually received a refund. I will not be returning to this restaurant, especially considering the dirty restrooms.
During a school tour, we stopped by Mother Hubbard am Juni. The restaurant was crowded with people having a party. We arrived halfway through our meal, but the manager, John, was very accommodating. He allowed us to place our order half an hour before we arrived, so our food was served promptly upon our arrival. Despite its rough exterior, the restaurant was surprisingly beautiful and bright inside. We were impressed by the generous portion sizes and reasonable prices for both children and adults. The food was delicious and all meals were brought out together by the efficient waiter and manager. They checked in with us to ensure everyone was enjoying their meal. The bathrooms could use some improvement, as could the exterior facade. Overall, the restaurant was a good value for money and a pleasant experience. We will definitely return on our next school tour. Many thanks to the staff for taking care of us so well.
During a long drive, I decided to stop at Mother Hubbard's in Cashel. I found the restaurant to be conveniently located at Junction 9. Despite its appearance as a typical truck stop, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The restaurant was clean, the menu had a good variety of food options, the coffee was delicious and served in a large mug, and the staff were friendly and efficient. This stop at Mother Hubbard's provided me with the energy I needed to continue on with my journey.
Come back from the galway and decided not to eat in the city massive mistake! I ordered steak and chips that my other friends have with chicken curry. my food came by, and when I asked what was taken so long, I said it was there when it was ready and ordered to settle very rudely. the steak was burned outside and cut rubber-like cheap and chips dry. terrible, my friends had very gum-like chickens and simple Kurrium sauce, which they also said was like pellets. unbeatable to say the minimum and the staff rude. avoid
