Village Inn - Castle Rock

We order 2 meals to go at least one night per week. I call in 5:30 he picks up at 6:00 pm. Sometimes I even pay.

Another great location in the popular 'breakfast n more ' chain. The Food was outstanding, but the service was exemplary! Ask to sit in 'Sam 's ' section you 'll be glad you did.

Update, I came back, got the same server again. She immediately apologized. I had a wonderful Christmas breakfast. Thank you village inn. Incredibly rude encounter with the server. She never brought milk for my coffee and forgot my pie entirely though others at my table had theirs. Said she was 'too busy '. I spoke to the manager but he seemed afraid of her, did nothing to correct the situation. I still paid the full bill minus tip. Very disappointing, memorable experience.

I went here at almost 10pm on a Wednesday night. My order was promptly taken and food arrived fast. I was taken back at how much food there was (chicken fried steak and eggs), the food was fantastic to say the least. My bill was delivered with the meal but not the pie I had ordered. As I was eating I kept waiting for my waiter to come back so I could ask him for something, he never came back. After I finished my meal I waited for a good 15 minutes hoping he would come back, I needed a box and my pie to go still. Nothing, I finally flagged down another employee to help me. She promptly got my pie and a box. When I was getting ready to leave she informed me that the meal was on her. So although the service left something to be desired but the amazing food and fantastic manager made up for it.

If you've been to a Village Inn, this is pretty much what you would expect. The servers are friendly and attentive, but also fairly busy as they're attending to multiple tables. Luckily, I don't think I've ever had a wait for more than 10 minutes, as they're pretty quick to get tables cleaned up and ready. The food isn't amazing, but it isn't bad either. It's not really the best place to get healthy food from, but you do have options, such as egg whites, fruit and whole grains, which is nice. They do have quite the number of options on their menu as well, so you won't have an issue with choice. Lastly, pricing here is pretty spot on, with the meals being reasonably priced. With all the above-mentioned, I come here every so often as it's a nice family friendly environment for a well-priced meal.
