On the occasion of theroica, now famous sporting event, I stayed in castiglione dorcia. one evening, not having the desire to move, we stopped in the village for dinner and we happened to the meeting room. very small place (between the outside and the inside I counted about thirty covers. maybe less) but very well looked after. put also small but made on traditional dishes (some small divagation as the baccal I ate some cutters (sicuramente homemade) with very fresh porcini while who was with me tasted the famous pines with spider of chianina. both dishes, well balanced and still goose. then we both ate a slice of rosemary kianina made of tender meat. we drank a very simple Tuscan red igt, which turns out to be an excellent choice. good, fragrant, full-bodied and also economical. thanks to the fork and 20% discount regularly applied, we dined with less than 35 per head, bottle included.
