I found the sitting-down area quite cold and unwelcoming. From the way the waiters treated us it was clear that we were not ‘locals’. The dishes seemed quite expensive considering the portions. I was disappointed that my vegan ‘paella’ was made with out-of-season vegetables and accompanied by out-of-the bag salad. Not sure why they called it paella if I’m reality it was a veggie rice. The other dish we ordered, a radicchio and pumpkin lasagne, was a slab on the plate without any side dishes. Perhaps we should have ordered another ready made salad and have it added onto the bill?

Restaurant and groceries, all veggie and mainly organic. Produce on saw is all local and organic. Simple modern food with fresh flavours, pretty colourful presentation. The pasta and risotto are amazing, main courses offer a bit less but the salads and omelettes are excellent. Good deserts. Prices and atmosphere are good. Book as always busy!

I’ve been to this place for lunch several times with local office folks taken me. Every time it was great food, never the same, excellent and extremely friendly service. They do take a lot of pride in what they do and it really shows!
