Cashiers Valley Smokehouse

That was fantastic! I read some of the star reviews and apart from the little complaints I don't know what these people complain! The food was great! The smoked turkey was juicy and had tons of smoke taste! The claw was just as I like it and the collar didn't need a vinegar. The only “common” I might have is that I only got 1 hush puppy, but I can’t complain there because they had given me 3 or 30, I would have eaten them all! It was so good. If I'm ever like this again, I'll be sure to stop! Oh and the portions? More than enough!

Delicious! We have the 1/2 ribs and smoked turkey with fried Okra and Cole Slav. It came out so fast and the staff was so friendly and warm. You have a large outdoor seating area that is large and spreads out with some parasols so you have plenty of space to spread out and have a little shade when you need it. I would highly recommend this point.

The food was absolutely amazing! The hush puppy has corn in it that there was that great extra taste. The pulled pig and the chicken were very delicate and also had a delicious taste. The baked beans were fantastic. The claw was a bit dry, but the taste was on point. I would have given five stars, but the waitress never came to check us as soon as she brought our food. They weren't kind at all and never spoke when we were gone. Four of them took a break at the same time.

We stopped here on the way to Hayesville, NC from South Carolina. I'm picky when it comes to bbq and this place passed the test... It's great! I liked the vinegar sauce most but the sweet BBQ sauce was good too. Best hushpuppies I've ever had, homemade chips were very good and plentiful.

Years ago, the Smokehouse was great. Then it was terrible. Now it's back. The eastern sauce was fantastic! Barbecue was tender and savory- perfectly smoked. Serving size was generous. Tots were perfect! Not the best I've had, but really good food. Will absolutely go back.
