El Cocinero Mexican Cafe - Carthage

I have been there to eat a couple of times. The food and the service are both good. I am looking forward to more trips there. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

I ate in el cocinero for the first time today. I am addicted! salsa, the green sauce, the meal, our server whitley. all perfect!

The shrimp tacos are fantastic! However, I was a bit disappointed that they reduced the portion from three to two shrimp in each taco. Three shrimp were the perfect amount. The accompanying sauce is amazing, and the cabbage is always fresh!

The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. I loved it!

Our experience at the restaurant was fantastic in terms of both food and service. However, since it was Mother's Day, we did have to wait for a while due to two large parties of over 20 guests each. The bigger group was seated in the banquet room, while the other had tables pushed together. We actually received our food before the second group, which was impressive as they made a concerted effort to serve their meals together. This experience has made me realize that if our family wants to dine together at any restaurant, we should call ahead. It's just too challenging to serve large groups with different orders simultaneously. Nevertheless, the group was very patient, and the restaurant overall provided a great experience.
