Tua Mercearia - Carrazeda De Ansiaes

We took the train from Pinhao to Tua for lunch and are so glad we did! This meal is one of the best we had in our 24 days in Portugal so authentic. We asked the waitress what she would recommend since the menu is fairly extensive. She suggested the Pica Pau and Mushrooms and we ordered the cider sangria. Started with the meat/cheese/bread platter with homemade bread (yum) and local meats and cheeses and that almost filled us up. The Pica Pau was so fresh and tasty, we've already made it back at home! Then the mushrooms were another level of incredible, I never would have thought to order them based on the simple menu description. We'd never had cider sangria but loved it. We were too full for dessert and had to catch the train back to Pinhao. Absolutely in love with this place and would go back in a heartbeat.

Um pequeno, mas extremamente acolhedor restaurante . extrema simpatia e profissionalismo dos funcionários. no entanto, o ponto alto são mesmo os deliciosos lanches que surpreendem para a qualidade e bom gosto. para repetir sempre que possível

Petiscos variados num local diferente. As tábuas são maravilhosas e tem uma seleção de pratos para picar que agrada a todos. E para os mais tradicionais, não faltam as sandes e o bife de alcatra. As sangrias são deliciosas. A de maracujá, então, é uma perdição.
