Caribbean Delicacies - Carlstadt

I regularly order meal prep at least once per month and their food always stays consistent. The garlic chicken and cabbage w/ carrot empanadas are a must-try. There is no other meal prep service that can compete with their freshness and customization at a great price!!

Food is fresh! Issue with method of payment. Staff says cash only due to not knowing how to work CC/debit so that's a slow up but maybe the kinks are worked out. Speed of service could improve BUT great food when you get it.

Their food is amazing!! We do the Mealprep service. Josie and her husband are very kind. The food is healthy, my family loves it! And definitely a great price. I absolutely can’t say enough about their service. Gracias por todo!!

So I went here yesterday, after a long search for a Caribbean restaurant near my job. I got the j chicken, with coconut rice and plantains. A little disappointed there was no salad with it but maybe I'm just being greedy, (I'm use to this as a Jamaican Anywho the j chicken was very good, I was so skeptical, but it did not disappoint. The coconut rice well seasoned and was cooked well. The only thing I was sad about was, there was NO gravy!!!! I didn't get the option so I'm going to assume that's not a thing there? I hope not, if y'all see this please add gravy! Oh an most importantly if you are going there for lunch like myself, CALL AND ORDER AHEAD OF TIME!!! They make the food fresh! It took 30 mins for my food to finish.

Best food I ever tasted, definitely would like to come back to eat! Also a bonus having the Dominican sodas that I love!! Thanks Josie!
