Vivace - Park Hyatt Aviara - Carlsbad

Server can take for two forgotten [very late drinks orders,] but they sit behind the 8 ball. our did well, although it was a summer to finish my main before my drink arrived. not sure why to log is that the assistant server is the first to welcome us for our water order and not in a position to take an order for a drink or two. This happens every time we were here. I can't let me take her speech out of the hand in such a fine restaurant. it's just a bad way to start the experience imho. the menu remains a tad for me. really wish they offered more than one steak type [for example.] fact: the menu is limited. It's pretty good.

One of my favorite places to dine. the restaurant is absolutely stunning and I love to see the cook prepare the meal. they can see how they work in connection. the personal is wonderful and our server had a very good knowledge about wein, which was very helpful. the menu can kick them out a bit from their comfort zone, but on the best way possible because everything is delicious. from “Soup to Nuts”, as they say. a perfect culinary experience. can't wait to go back!

Eating was excellent, but service was sloouw. apparently there was a big party before us, and the server and the hostess were very apologetic and comp’d us dessert. I would certainly try.

Truly an outstanding restaurant, the ambience, food, and service was excellent. We love having breakfast and dinner there.

We selected this restaurant based on an OpenTable review of 4.7 average… That was nothing like the meal that we had. Starters were OK, Lobster was tough… We won’t be returning… The entrance to the park Hyatt was beautiful, unfortunately the restaurants just didn’t measure up
