Luna Grill - Carlsbad

We saw the ad for kids eat free (with adult entrée purchase) so we decided to go today. My kids love the pita bread and hummus. We were SO impressed with the customer service from Carlos. He went above and beyond, and he was wonderful. I think customerservice is sorely lacking these days and we were pleasantly surprised this afternoon with his kindness, attentiveness, andhelpfulness. Way to go Carlos!

I ordered the chicken kabob with basmati rice and salad. When I opened my box , I saw a big green fat round bug sitting on my pita bread. I took my food back to the restaurant and asked for the manager. He was very apologetic and explained that sincetheir lettuce is organic this probably happened. But my question is aren't you suppose to wash and check the lettuce you serveto your clients?! He was kind enough to give me couple of coupons but not going back anytime soon.

Went into Luna Grill after hearing a lot about it from coworkers. I?ve always been a fan of gyros so was excited to try. When I went in I was greeted with amazing customer service. I ordered a classic gyro and wow so great. Thank you Luna grill and thankyou to Carlos for the great hospitality and friendly attitude. Will definitely be returning.

Very overpriced. I guess that?s just the way it goes now, but relatively poor value. There?s a place in San Marcos selling gyros for 5.99 that are twice as good as those at Luna grill. Everything is generally cold. Fries are meh pretty gooddepending on if they?re fresh and they?re using old oil. Orders (can not always) take forever to come out. Plates are evenmore of a ripoff. $17 for a single kabob and some rice? No thanks. Edited this review a bit and upgraded from 2 3 stars becausethe employees are extremely nice and helpful. Still a good bit of variance between visits. Last week I had a gyro that was10/10 incredible. Tonight I had one and it wasn?t in the same league. If you?re paying $14 for a gyro and fries it should allcome out HOT. Employees are great. Shoutout to them.
