Luna Grill - Carlsbad

Everyone working here seems happy, are smiling, and very helpful. Roomy inside, stroller friendly, and good atmosphere. But the FOOD worth the slightly more expensive price. My wife and I ate for $42 but the portion sizes are smaller than what I wouldexpect which, for the price, is why i rate 4/5. Nevertheless, I recommend this location. We will be coming back.

Today I went in for lunch and ordered the modern Greek salad. It was noon and I had not had anything to eat yet and I was starving! I asked the person taking my order if I could have both gyro chicken on my salad. I was told yes and I requested tohave the chicken kabob as opposed to whatever chicken they now put on the salad. I was a lil shocked when total came to $33 butI didnt look at the receipt right away because LG is a bit pricy and inflation. When the food was delivered to my table, thechicken was on the salad along with a side plate of gyro. As I was eating, I got out my receipt to scan for points when Inoticed I was charged $10.99 for salad, $7.49 to add chicken and $9.99 for a La cart gyro. Looking at the menu it says $3.79 toadd chicken or gyro to salad. When I was finished I took my receipt to the counter and told a woman who appeared to be themanager that I was over charged. She looked at my receipt and explained the cost difference for the chicken kabob, which Iunderstood however I didn?t order a plate of gyro, I wanted it as addition to salad. She then explained to me that the portionof gyro was much smaller on the salad than what they gave me. Again, I understood but this is not what I ordered. The persontaking the order should have charged me $3.79 for addition of gyro then $7.49 for the chicken kabob. She agreed with me andsaid she would speak to the employee for future reference. I was not offered a refund for the difference nor much else. Iwalked out a bit annoyed and frustrated. I like Luna Grill a lot however this experience left a bad taste in my mouth and Idon?t expect to return any time soon.

I'm new to Carlsbad and wanted Mediterrean food. Tried this place last night and had their Chicken Kabob plate. It was delicious. Highly recommend this place :

Norma and her team are outstanding! I patron the el Camino location weekly and they are always so kind and patient with my special order. They take very great care of me and the food is always delicious! Norma is a true professional and showsexcellent leadership skills. Her customer service is a 10/10! She always goes the extra mile and makes me feel welcome for myweekly trip to the area for work. Her staff are quite pleasant and professional as well and that is a true testament to thegreat moral and culture she has created there. I always look forward to my Luna Grill Tuesdays! Luna Grill is delicious!!! I'm a very picky eater, but i didn't find anything wrong with the food at all when we dine in. I ordered the chicken breast asked for well done and it came perfect. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS, chicken, rice, salad, the HUMMUS????, pita nice and fluffy, Chipotle sauce ???????? AND their Mango Lime drink ???????????? They also have these mouth waterychocolate chip cookies, big good for 2. My daughters loved it. I would definitely dine in again. Decor wise....really caughtour eyes. It's very nice and lit (we came around 8:30 last nice) very clean and bright. Loved EVERYTHING. Staff Wise....verynice, everyone smiled. Very pleasant.
