Dragon's Den - Carlsbad

Food is fine, service is so. The server added 20% satisfaction without our consent. I agree that there is a good tip when a server does a GREAT job. But if it added 20% automatically and service is MEDIOCRE best, it feels like a hidden fee.

We had a fine dinner after the busy day in the park. It was burgers and sandwiches, and it wasn't the best we ever had, but the kids liked it! The service was very attentive and fast. As the Legoland Hotel, everything is sticky and seems just spilled... and children are pretty everywhere, but that's all to be expected in this kind of space.

After the terrible service, terrible seating and flies all over the food at Bricks, it was a pleasant pleasure to visit and eat in the Dragon Den! Although the floors in the dining area were dirty, the breakfast buffet was hot and delicious, and I had no problems sitting next to the bus station or in the middle of the traffic flow. The staff was friendly and friendly, unlike what we experienced at Bricks. Things went so well, I immediately canceled our future reservations at Bricks and they all made with the Dragon Den for the rest of our stay.

With my standard it is definitely worth more than the 3.1 stars it currently has. Breakfast is one of the best I ever had in a hotel, quite a lot of options. Dinner was good and not the best but decent taste and serving, reasonable price in a theme hotel. A total of 5 stars breakfast, and 4 stars for dinner.

We really enjoyed our dining experience at the Dragon's Den. It was surprisingly better quality than we expected. The kids options fit the needs and the fish and pasta dishes were very tasty and filling. We ordered 2 glasses of wine and the helpful waiter recommended we get a bottle to get better bang for our buck and we can just take what's left back to our room which worked out wonderfully! Atmosphere was what you would expect, fun and easy going. They have a large Lego pit at the entry to use while waiting for your seat and/or food. Great time all around!
