Chandler's Oceanfront Dining- Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach, A Hilton Resort

We eat at chandlers all couple months and it is always delicious, the service is excellent (from to our server, bryce, the friendly, attentive and has a great feeling of man) and we always have a great time during our meal.

Nicely renovated, love the location, food was delicious, but overall customer service from hostess to waitress was below average.

Food is good, but nothing special. Don’t really frequent here but once a year because the food is not special. Service was 5 out of 10. Not what you’d expect from an oceanfront resort.

Very rude staff! We were not even halfway through our brunch, maybe 10-15 minutes after the food came out our server brought out our check to us. My husband and I have never experienced anything like that. We were with our children, everyone behaving normally nothing out of the norm. However, it seemed like this jerk worker wanted us to leave. Regardless of the situation it is NEVER EVER APPROPRIATE to bring out a check 1. When your customer is not even halfway through their meal and 2. Before we ask for a check! We will never dine here again and the reviews are honestly over rated, the food was like any typical American style restaurant.

Some of the best halibut ever had. our server was very attentive and has often checked us. also one of Busboys;older hispanic gentleman) went out of his way to entertain our 5 years old. she loved him!
