Thruway Restaurant - Carleton Place

We went just close of lunch so we don't know what to eat lunch or breakfast and was amazing to find both at the menú, so I asked for the eggs Benny ... It was delicious!! and good attention!!

If you're driving on Hwy 7 through Carleton Place, stop in for a delightful offering of local fare. The staff are friendly and the food is restaurant quality.

We enjoy going out for breakfast, and the Thruway has a good breakfast special. Lots of food, eggs to order, and plenty of coffee refills. And....friendly service.

On our way home from Ottawa we stopped to fuel up next door to this restaurant, so we all decided to have breakfast there and then continue on into Toronto. We were one of the first ones in the place so there was no problem being seated. Very nice place and really great staff. They hade a breakfast special on the chalkboard as you walk in, so we all decided to take a chance on it even after looking at the menu. It was not an expensive meal so we all thought you are just going to get nothing. When our meals arrived the plates were we just about had a hard time thinking that we would finish everything. A Large slice of ham, eggs made just as we ordered them, home fries and pancake with OG. I wonder what dinner would be like?

They make a great club sandwiche here served with fresh cut fries. Always eat the same as it's so good. Having had the burgers and they'll prefer good as well.
