Fujiyama's Japanese - Carbondale

In the past we have dined several times at Fujiyama's, we decided to do just one dining room option instead of the Hibachi, and it was fantastic. The service is as good as the food and you get everything very quickly to I could add.

I am temporarily stationed in Carbondale, IL for work and have been looking for a decent sushi place and I think I have finally found one that is good quality and cheap! I had the Springfield Roll and Butterfly Roll. I will definitely come back to try some other menu items while I am here!

I have been eating at fujiyama for a while. I lived here for college when they were in their old location and now I'm living here again. I went there at least weekly before. Their new building is very nice. Their food is good. I wish they had more special rolls for sushi. Service is always good.

Fujiyama Japanese cuisine in Carbondale is a real pleasure. We got the Hibachi. The cook was great! He talked to us with the coolest tricks!! Everything was perfectly cooked. My only complaint is the quality of the meat. It is a difference from night and day between lunch and dinner. And everything was great! 4 stars today only because of meat quality.

Hibachi is delicious. I tried everything on the menu. Lunch is expensive and very fast service. Usually in a few times a month for lunch or dinner. One of my favorite restaurants in Carbondale.
